Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Magnus Christoffersen danced professionally with the world-renowned Royal Danish Ballet, where he received his early training and education. Magnus received the prize for the Talent of the Year, at the annual Reumert Show in 2013, the biggest Danish theatre award show, where he was celebrated with the words, "A strong face that predicts many future roles with drama." In 2017, he won the attention of the Prime Minister of Denmark for his artistic excellence. The same year he moved to Los Angeles to join the Los Angeles Ballet as a soloist. Next to performing with the company, he studied and educated himself as an actor for four years (2018-2021) with the acclaimed acting coach, Jeffrey Marcus. Additionally, he studied improv comedy with comedian Matthew Moore and did voice training with actress Lauren Lovett-Cohen. Magnus has produced, written and directed short films such as, "The Dancer," "Covid Rockin" and "We Are Together. All have won recognition in Film Festivals throughout the United States. During the Covid Years, Magnus appeared on numerous news channels such as "Good Morning America" presenting a unique Covid-inspired "Backyard Ballet" concept that claimed international attention. Magnus holds a "Certificate of Specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation" from Harvard Business School and is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. |
